Together with Professor Lorenzo Morelli (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Italy), we celebrated World Microbiome Day 2023 focusing on the significant role of diet and the microbiome in terms of health benefits, food production, and agri-industry systems. We delved into the critical connection between our diet and the microbiome, exploring how it impacts our overall well-being. Additionally, we discussed the exciting advancements in probiotics, evolving towards biotherapeutics.
