MICRO s.r.l was established in July 2003 by Dr. Franco Pirovano, initially to analytically support his consulting activity in the food, nutraceutical and supplement sectors.
Over the years the business has consolidated, expanding its range of skills and providing its customers with an increasingly complete service.
In 2009, the company obtained ACCREDIA accreditation for the first time, which certifies that the work performed in the laboratory complies with the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard (“General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”).
MICRO s.r.l. is thus synonymous for:

- service for speed, availability and confidentiality towards its customers.

Customers are the genuine asset and heart of MICRO s.r.l. and the maximum attention is always reserved to them, both as regards the definition of the offer, accompanying them in a correct and aware choice of which analysis are more appropriate for a given product, and as regards the “personal” factor, giving them the opportunity to have direct contact with the laboratory.
MICRO s.r.l. for 20 years, it has been carrying out only microbiological analysis using different analytical methods in various product sectors.

Why the analysis
The microbiological analysis is a fundamental element in the certification of the quality of a product, in fact this type of analysis verifies both the purity, i.e. the absence of pathogenic and non-pathogenic contaminants, and the correctness, in the case of added supplements of bacteria or yeasts, of the declared title.
Furthermore, the microbiological analysis of a food and non-food product is one of the key steps to be respected for those companies that aim to become, or remain, top of their category and represent a test of transparency towards consumers.
The laboratory is accreditated by ACCREDIA (ILAC-MRA) with the number 0977 L and it is also registered in the list of the Lombardy Region of officially authorized laboratories for HACCP in the food industries. #plasticfree: a small gesture for a big problem.
